Community — LBmaster Advanced Groups

Overview

👥 What is the Groups System?

The server runs LBmaster Advanced Groups, a full-featured squad system that lets players form named groups with shared benefits: group map markers, shared HUD indicators, and group vehicle storage. Playing in a group dramatically improves coordination, especially during base defence, trading runs, and vehicle operations.

Press O to open the group interface at any time. Create, manage, or leave groups here.

Groups support multiple members. Check in-game for the current member cap.

Creating and Joining a Group

1 Create a Group

Press O to open the group menu. Select Create Group and enter a group name. The name is visible to other players (including in the group garage list, so choose something recognisable to your squad). You automatically become the Group Leader.

Note: Group names are case-sensitive and must be unique on the server. Keep it short and memorable.

2 Invite Players

As the Group Leader, open the group menu and select Invite Player. Enter the target player's name (as it appears in-game). They'll receive a notification and can accept or decline the invite.

3 Join an Existing Group

If a Group Leader has sent you an invite, you'll see a notification on screen. Select Accept to join. Alternatively, you can request to join via the group menu if the group is set to open membership.

Group Features

🗺 Shared Map Markers

Group members share map markers visible to the whole squad on the in-game map. Set markers at your base, a meeting point, a loot cache, or an enemy position. Markers update in real time — everyone in the group sees your position marker as you move.

🚗 Group Vehicle Garage

In addition to personal storage, every group gets a shared Group Garage accessible by all members. Any member can store and retrieve group vehicles at any Garage sign. This is ideal for communal vehicles like base defence trucks, supply helicopters, and shared cars.

📡 Group HUD

While in a group, you'll see a group HUD on your screen showing each member's name and status. The HUD updates in real time and helps you keep track of your squad during combat, trading, or operations.

Managing Your Group

Leader Actions

Disbanding a group will remove access to the group vehicle garage for all members. Make sure all group vehicles are retrieved before disbanding.

Leaving a Group

Open the group menu with O and select Leave Group. You'll lose access to shared markers and the group garage. If you were the leader and there are other members, promote someone else first before leaving so the group isn't left leaderless.

Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

Can I be in more than one group at a time?

No. You can only belong to one group at a time. Leave your current group before joining another.

What happens to group vehicle storage if the Group Leader quits the game?

The group and its garage remain active as long as at least one member is in it. Leadership can be transferred at any time. Group vehicles are safe regardless of the leader's online status.

Can enemies see my group markers on the map?

No. Group markers are only visible to members of your group.

The group invite isn't working.

Make sure you're spelling the target player's name exactly as it appears in-game (case-sensitive). Both players must be online. Try having the other player re-open their group menu to refresh the notification.

How many vehicles can the group garage hold?

The server has a group garage capacity. Check in-game — the garage interface shows current count vs. available slots for your group.
